Buy a car via Bynco

Bynco is the first platform in the Netherlands which allows you to buy a second hand Dutch car completely online. From searching to buying to delivery, everything can be sorted from the comfort of your own home. Buying your dream car can be done in 4 easy steps: 

Step 1: ordering, administration, and insurance

Once you find your dream car, click on ‘to order’ and start the ordering process. No account yet? You can easily register using your email address, Google or Facebook account. After this you will be asked to fill in your address and contact details as well as your driver’s license information. Be aware that the license details you fill in must belong to the person who will actually be driving the car: these details are used when transferring the car’s title to a new name. During the ordering process the car will be reserved for 15 minutes for each step of the process.

You decide on the moment of delivery, between 2 and 14 days after purchase. After this we will contact you to decide on an exact time. You will only need to take care of auto insurance. You can easily compare premiums via our partner Pricewise.

Are you making use of Bynco’s trade-in service? We will subtract the value of your traded car from the price of the car you are purchasing. The difference is the amount that you will have to pay.

Step 2: payment

On Bynco.com you can pay with iDEAL. This is possible up to an amount of €50,000. During the ordering process you can choose for immediate payment, or payment upon delivery. In order to guarantee you 100% safety, we work with a third party trust account from independent mediator GoCredible. Your money will be held in this third party account. It will only be made available to us once you have accepted the car you have ordered upon delivery and after we have arranged the title transfer.

In the extremely unlikely situation that either Bynco or GoCredible goes bankrupt, the money in the third party account does not fall within the bankruptcy. Your money will be safe in any situation.

Step 3: the delivery

We want to make things as easy for you as possible. On work days we will deliver the car to your house at a time of your choosing. We will explain in detail all the options, how to set up your car exactly how you want, and will answer all your questions. We will also make sure that the car is registered to your name via the RDW.

It’s that secure: the purchase amount will only be transferred to our account once you accept the car. Once that has happened, you will begin your 14 day trial period and can immediately drive off. Are you making use of our trade-in service? We will quickly inspect the car to be traded. If it’s in the condition that you have indicated, we will hold/reserve/indemnify your car on the spot and will take it with us immediately. Don’t forget to terminate or transfer your auto insurance!

Step 4: the trial period

What’s nicer than trying out your new car in your own surroundings? You can drive up to 200 kilometres with it. Don’t like it? We will take it back within 14 days. No questions asked. The entire purchase amount will be deposited back into your bank account. If you end up driving more than 200 kilometres, we will charge a fee per extra driven kilometre. It goes without saying that you pay for the gas yourself.
